Elephant Car Insurance is the flagship product offering from the renowned and distinctive Elephant Insurance brand. Launched in 2000, the introduction of Elephant Car Insurance has matched the success of other brands to have been provided by the Admiral Insurance Group.

The premise behind Elephant Car Insurance is their focus on delivering cheap quotes to the UK's online insurance customers. By bringing the vast majority of their services to their customers via the elephant.co.uk website, Elephant Car Insurance has managed to cut its overheads - in comparison to its competitors - largely due to the reduced investment and costs involved in maintaining call centres.

The Elephant Car Insurance product is not a one size fits all solution. As with the other Admiral Insurance brands, the customer has the ability to tailor the content of the policy to their needs. Elephant Car Insurance also offers the unique bonus accelerator policy which offers the customer a 10 month term and rewards them with one full year's worth of no claims bonus. Despite being a marginally more expensive policy (baring in mind the reduced period of cover), it allows Elephant Car Insurance customers to build up their no claims bonus much quicker and thus returning much higher cost savings in the long run.
