The ability for American Express Insurance to build these relationships gives them a cost effective route into new markets they may know little about, and it ensures that the American Express Insurance customers are receiving a tried and tested solution for their needs. The service itself is effectively out-sourced to BDML and ACE European Group but the branding and interaction with you, the customer, is maintained under the American Express name.

A great example of this is the International Medical Insurance policy offered by American Express Insurance. It provides those living and/or working abroad with medical insurance cover for a foreign country. To provide this relatively innovative product, American Express Insurance have teamed up with Goodhealth Worldwide Europe Ltd.
