As far back as 1999, Halifax Insurance used Esure Insurance as it's car insurance underwriter. This relationship still stands today and has even lead to other successful insurance brands being part of the HBOS Group and Halifax Insurance. These include the likes of Sheila's Wheels Insurance, Sainsbury's Insurance and First Alternative Insurance. Each of the Halifax Insurance brands has established itself into its own niche market.
